Republic at War

Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption mod |

Follow 5272

Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

By fighting for the most pure, innocent and eager to bring justice to the Galaxy cause - Тhe Confederacy of Independent Systems. We use machines to die for us, not organic slaves bred to die for a corrupted republic! For Count Christopher Lee!!!

A faction whose leaders are the epitome of corruption themselves (hello Trade Federation, Techno Union and the rest of the council) and employs a mass-murdering cyborg as head of their armies can hardly call themselves "pure"/"innocent" or "justice bringers".
The CIS is not comparable to the later Rebel Alliance and the Republic, while certainly flawed and in dire need of grand reforms, isn't comparable to the later Galactic Empire which was created from its ashes.

Probably will reinstall the game and this mod with it, since I had a lot of fun playing it, especially in space battles.

Hope the new update comes out real soon.

Hey guys, I'm really excited to experience this mod. However, as soon as I either initiate my first battle (space or land) or if I attempt to save the game, it crashes to the desktop. Any ideas?

U may want to clear your petroglyphs folder of your older save games. If they can't be found directly in the folder, u could find them (after a short while, of course) in your Windows Directory. I had the same problem, until Maxim (DEV for AotR Mod) told me the same thing. It always works.

I recently subscribed to this mod and am loving it so far, however the colour on my Venators is a really bright red rather than the darker, usual red. Is there a fix for this? (The version of the mod i'm using is the one from the steam workshop)

That comes from low graphics settings. You should be able to set your graphics settings higher, which will make it smoother and back to the usual dark red.

I've put basically everything on max other than water and shader (Which stay on lowest and won't let me change them) and still nothing? Is there a specific setting or settings that effect it?

this effect usually appears when you are using an intel integrated graphics chip.
