Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

So we have just passed our 400th commit for Republic at War. This special commit contained some huge changes for a new GC.

    Damn i want to unleash my droid legion on the Republic so badly but must...wait... for 1.2... Can't deactivate myself till the end of this year... Darnit!

    I have no problem installing the mod or starting the game but when i enter galactic conquest and attack a planet, during the load screen for the battle, game crashes and a popup appears saying "An exception has occurred. See _loggfile.txt and _except.txt for details. I can't find those .txt files.

    Hello there.

    Could you somehow make a qoncuest map whit about 20-30 planets and both factions start at one end with like 3 planets each instead of all over the place. I love galactic qoncuest, but when they are scattered around the map i think it makes it a bit boring, and the republic starts with more planets which makes it even more boring. It is still one of the best mods ever, but i don't like the conquest just because of the huge headstart.

      That the Republic has more planets is because of the fact that it is canon to be so.
      Galactic Conquests in the current version of RaW reflect the actual Clone Wars in which the Republic did have way more territory than the CIS, but was unable to defend everything or go on the offensive because of the at first rather small military.

      What you want is a sort of sandbox-GC which the current version of the mod simply doesn't have but which is planned as far as I remember.

    Not gonna lie... but i feel Techno Union frigates are too overpowered than it should be. It easily beats up 3 accalamators and groups of republic frigates. Considering that is one asset available at a tech level 3, I feel like it should be underpowered or as many has said this: Buff the acclmators cuz they are seriously incompetent. Thank you.

      what type of acclamators ? and their not over powered at all if you know not to throw transport ships at them .

        The Acclamator isn't just a Transport, it is an Assault Ship and as many Republic designs it also has a dual role in which it serves as a medium frigate.
        Acclamators are decently armed and in the current version of RaW indeed too weak, but that still doesn't make the TU-Frigate overpowered.
        The TU-Frigate is the CIS "answer" to the Dreadnaught and thus meant to be stronger than a Munificent and with its special ability it is certainly within reason that a TU-Frigate can trash up to 3 Acclamators if they're stupid enough to attack it head on.

        "Assault ship" means a ship that can carry hundreds or thousands of troops and can launch enough vehicles to land those troops on the ground -.-

        It definitely doesn't mean frigate !

        That's why I directly mentioned afterwards the dual-role design of the Acclamator.
        It is not just an Assault Ship but can also serve as a medium frigate in a secondary role, just like the Venator has a dual-role design of Carrier/Medium Capital ship.
        A single Acclamator is equipped with 12 Quad-Turbolasers against capital ships, 24 Point Defense Lasercannons against fighters and 4 Proton Torpedo Launchers, so it is certainly not just a helpless transport ship.

        That the Acclamators in the current version of this mod are underwhelming/underpowered is something that the mod team has acknowledged as well already.

        Totally agreed, it should be less powerful than the TU frigate, but surely shouldn't be TOO underpowered like it is now. It is vulnerable af, like srsly af XD. This is one thing that needs major tweaking imo.

        well there is no transport or fighter acclamator its just the acclamator and right now the acclamator is just under-powered
