A rebuild of the released 2015 SerenityJediEngine. Many code fixes and additional features. Supports single and multiplayer. I have given myself a whole year to finish the project, to avoid a rushed release. Serenity has given me permission to continue this project and I can now confirm this project will contain no plagiarised material. More details to follow as progress develops.

    Hey I just wanted to say that your mod is the best and my favorite. I've been keeping an eye on this page since I first discovered it, early 2017. (Literally I've never closed the tab, I refresh it from time to time looking forward to the next update.) I've beaten the Outcast/Academy campaign several times since then and I've had a blast! So thank you Sir!

    The only bug I have to report that has been consistent through all the builds is crashing caused by Force Lightning on mechanical objects, like droids or consoles. The default blaster's alternate fire produces the same effect. So I just had to make sure to save often and be careful where I used Force Lightning... lol

    CORRECTION, I can get it to work by clicking on one of the "START Serenity" batch files or the SP Application that has a pic of Kylo Ren on it depending on weather or not I have the Serenity Engine pk3 file itself in the base folder or the Advanced Serenity engine folder. Either way both of these launch methods are a BUGGY mess, either have to skip levels because Luke doesn't kill the storm trooper in cairn like hes supposed to (you'll be stuck facing Luke at the door where you first meet him on the Conquest of Cairn mission if you don't skip the level entirely) or Game will simple refuse to work at Bespin just before the area containing the fight with Tavion in JKO and that area will not load no matter what (you must skip to Cairn if you wish to continue the game). Just a heads up to all who are looking to download the mod, it's fun to be sure but also incredibly annoying if you get it working due to the lack of clear instructions on how to actually use the mod outside of (copy to gamedata, which doesn't work with the vanilla game, you MUST use the SP batch file or the application with Kylo Ren as the Icon.) Apparently the Mod author got it working perfectly but I've tried every possible way to install this mod and followed it to the letter every time, fresh installs, updates, cant get it right. so BE WARNED, if you can't handle a buggy mess that lacks clear instructions on what goes where to get it running perfectly then DONT DOWNLOAD IT. ALSO Download the JOA v.3 mod, it goes with this one and helps, theres no instructions in the readme about that so I'll take care of it here.

      All these issues are fixed for the final release coming in the next week or 2. Jedi outcast is now fully playable.

    Mod doesn't work, I follow the readme to the letter and cannot play JO or JA with this mod. I keep getting that NPC file size or whatever is too large. I've fresh installed JA over 10 times and did exactly what the readme said. Mod just doesnt work

    Whenever I create a session or do devmap it doesn't give me a saber and only gives me melee and a blaster, I also cannot pick up weapons. This happens with every gamemode and reguardless if I have weapons on or not. Is this is a known bug?

      This mod is class based. This means, if you play as a gunner you cannot have a jedi weapon or if you play as a jedi you cannot have a gunners weapon (pistols are so uncivilised).

      Make sure if you play as a gunner you don't try to select force powers also and make sure if you play as a jedi/sith you do select force powers.
      Using devmap (cheats) may interrupt the class system.......

        Well this happens with modded in characters, but some work and some don't. Is there a menu where you can customize this for each character?

        This same problem was happening with me, however I did not see any class selection screen. I was able to select my character, but all of my custom skins, such as Starkiller must not have had the class support, thus the mod didn't give them a lightsaber. Is there a workaround for this, or would you have to add custom skin support for the class system?
