Very excited to be able to release this tonight. There are a ton of new features! Improved AI, Asteroid mines, More ships, movable space stations, and abilities update! Keep in mind that is mod is designed for space skirmishes, you can do galactic conquest or ground battle, but then you're missing most of what has been edited.
This is an Alpha Version of Sk8sEAWmod2.0. There are a ton of new features and bug fixes in this patch, here's a little bit of a list. I hope you all enjoy this feature heavy update. I'd like to play it with online multiplayer, a 3vs3 would be awesome. Haven't had one of those in a long time.
+ Improved AI
The AI now spawns ships! They are still dumb, but they shoot back now!
+ command ship is mobile
What better way to blow up the enemy base, than to attack it with your own base?
+ Asteroid Mines have been upgraded
The people living on the asteroid don't like to be shot at, so they've armed themselves. But they still aren't very scary, can't even destroy a squad of Z95s. But they might get a few lucky hits?
+ Ships Added
Y-Wing and the Z-95; because they fought in the clone wars too.
+ Misc changes
- ARC170, ETA2 and V-wing have all been given the locking S foils ability.
- Ebon Hawk is now more expensive, and limited to 1 per player at a time.
- Some other balancing changes
- Lots of bug fixes, right now the worst known bug is that the mini map doesn't display enemy locations
Possible Future Gameplay Changes (2.0): Maybe a Tier 3? Will unlock the acclamator and potentially another clone wars era fighter?
