The latest release of SURVIVOR. Not really finished but stable.
SURVIVOR was a mod for Half-Life 2 that takes Half-Life 2 Survivor Ver2.0 and recreates it from scratch inside of the Source SDK 2013 engine. It was first a remake of the Battle Mode, but then it was planned to also include a Mission Mode as well. It also was supposed to be a graphical improvement over the original Half-Life 2 Survivor Ver2.0, with enhancements like SSAO and Sunrays. This is the most recent source code branch as of 12-24-16. This includes the Shader Editor and SDK 2013 branches used for SURVIVOR. It was hard for me to do this, but I felt like releasing it because I lost interest in the project and I was focusing on FIREFIGHT RELOADED, SMOD3, and others. I hope modders can make use of this source code for future modiications to come. Thanks, and happy holidays to you all, Bitl. Credits: ------------ R_Yell/Fistful of Frags team - Basic bot AI code. Changes from the ALPHA: - Added a basic SSAO shader. - Fixed a bug with supply lockers not giving items (don't know if all lockers on every map are affected by this, if there is one that isn't, stand in front of it and use the "showposition" command to get the position of it, then send the position printed in the console to me (starts with "Player position XYZ Coords")) - Added the Mapadd System from FIREFIGHT RELOADED to fix the above bug. - Bots will now chat! - Bots now have a randomized ID instead of an acculmilated ID. - Bots will now strafe randomly while in combat. - Bots will switch to a melee weapon if they are underwater. - Added a basic critical hit system.
