The Dark Times is a Star Wars Battlefront II mod with a heavy single-player focus. It adds many new features to the game, including (but not limited to!) wave modes, randomized units, heroes, and skyboxes, and AI hero support. Its sequel, Rising Son, adds more of the above as well as several new maps and scripted missions.

    Ce mod est excellent, les maps sont vraiment original (mention spécial pour le train :, et le Foncon Millenium) . Merci de mettre de la variété dans nos Battle front .

    Hello a little help here. On the 2nd mission of the campaign it always crashes once i get to the 2 powerful droids or whatever. I uninstalled and reinistalled the mod and that didnt help. What is the problem here?

      You probably have a sides replacement mod also installed that's overwriting the vanilla sides. That will potentially break compatibility with anything that looks for resources from the vanilla sides.

    Dude, your job is ******* amazing! Congratulations on the mod, which even at that time, it was already very good, and to this day it is one of the most downloaded mods of the site and it remains. Do you plan to remake this mod someday? know, new models, effects, etc?

    How do you parry with the light attack? It doesn't seem to do anything but do damage and block

      The light attack blocks both melee and ranged attacks automatically when swinging.

    When you play the VIP game mode there is a green marker on one of the spawn points. What does it mean? Also, why would you ever not spam light attack in saber combat?

      Friendlies get an indicator where the VIP spawns from (the green marker) while enemies have the indicator of where the VIP target is (orange marker). They'd both be on the VIP, but SWBF2 doesn't allow that.

      Light attack is super-useful in saber combat, but it drains energy, deals little damage, and has no knockback. At some point, to beat someone else using a lightsaber, you're going to have to do a heavy attack. Also, the slam move (LMB+RMB) will break any blocks, so if you catch someone using only blocks, just use the slam.
