UT40K: The Chosen Although 40K players and other Mod Teams may not have herd about us, we have in fact been going on, for quite a while. The fact that a ModDB page was never set up for us has only just been brought to light. We are a small but dedicated team, devoted to bringing the universe of Games Workshops Warhammer 40,000 to it's full glory, using the UT3 engine. While we have been toiling in the shadows, we have actually managed to release a Number of Public Betas over the last year and improve on them with each upgrade. We are devoted to remaining as close to the publish code rules as we possibly can, to the point where we have implemented both the JAM system, for the Terminator Assault Cannon, and a fully functional vehicle damage system, complete with Front, Side and Rear armour values and features all of the ways of disabling a vehicle (e.g. Crew Stunned, Weapon Destroyed, Immobilised and all the others) We have two mostly functional races available; The Imperium's...

    ok just uploaded a test build, i need your help testing asa i only have 1 comp that can run a ue4 game, my old laptop just won't do it any more

    ok for those still following UT40k, i've moved the game to a different code base but still built on UE4, progress is still slow and painful due to the lack of a coder but with the different base i'm getting a bit of help as seen on this video

    still loads of work to get it to a half playable stage but with the progress now hopefully it will be worth it

    ok its been a long time but i have been trying off and on to get this thing working, atm i have a small character selection screen working and i hope to expand this, the only problem atm is that the packaged game won't start if Steam is running. so i might wait a little to see if this can be fixed other wise i'll just upload it at the end of the month

    been along time and things are not really getting any where, but Thanks to Dedrick on the UE4 forums i now have a working JumpPack via blueprints so this shouldn't get messed up when Epic change the code again :)

    progress hasen't been much on the modelling side either but i'm hopeing to pick that up a little over the next month, and yes i'm still trying to find a way of doing an invasion gametype but it isn't easy.

    btw if you haven't noticed UE4 is now free for everybody so if you want to help then dig in and get started

    Knocking abit, anyone still there? I did like the UT2004 mod with those Tyranids monsters although we won't see them updated for UT2004 again.

      i tried and failed for the ut3/udk versions, but i do hope to get some in the UE4 version but atm i'm a one man team with little time, that said on the speech from Epic yesterday Tim said we can package our games to be mod-able so maybe i'll find more help in the near future

        So that means you did have more tyranid Models from UT2004? Also did you made them yourself?

        i have a small range of model that was donated from another modder, i can't remember how many i got into the UT2004 version, atm i'm planning to redo what i can starting with some of the smaller Nids, this actually means first that i need to buy the actual GW models as i can't work from just pictures, as you know they're not cheap so it will be slow going as there are other Factions that i want to buy. That said i also have a small Ork collection that once i sort my workflow i'll start on them as well
