Great work! This will keep ZM alive for the ones who still play it.

I'm not very sure about the idea of the flashlight needing to recharge though, there are maps so dark that you need to keep it on all the time and finding objects (to complete the map) on the dark becomes an impossible task because the flashlight recharges really slow.

I was looking to help with this mod. Though I'm only interested in remastering or updating the current levels provided. Simply I'm a level designer for Brainbread 2 as well as other projects. I really don't have the time to create levels from scratch, though ZM always had a great selection of levels. If so, I wouldn't mind contributing some updating of levels in terms of detail, geometry and possibly optimization.

Btw, what happened to the development of ZM2? Seemed like that team had things going for them. Would be nice to see there assets not go to waste.

Great to hear that people are willing to help.

Regarding ZM2, it was abandoned and its assets are most likely forever gone (main dev disappeared due to rl problems).

Heyo, don't know where to put this but in virustotal it said the installer contains malware. Probably a problem with virustotal because the normal download doesn't contain any malware on virustotal. It might put some people off the mod tho. Be careful anyways.

I just checked it with virustotal and it came out clean.

Any plans to work on a sequel for ZM that won't be left to rot once ZM1 is all fixed up?

Huh, I just found out about this.
What are the differences between this and ZM2?

It's actually being developed rather than just being abandoned.
