Getting into Mortal Kombat after so many years can be tough, and not everyone is a fighting game savant. Fortunately, GameFront is home to at least a few fighting game aficionados, like Mitchell of our video walkthrough team.

How do you do the babalities or whatever it’s called on this? Is it on this website? Any help would be great.. And what is the 1,2,&3 crap for the combos and stuff? I already sent this once but I put the wrong email address.. Thanks

1, 2, 3 and 4 refer to the buttons on the controller — instead of using symbols for PS3 and letters for Xbox 360.
1: front punch
2: back punch
3: front kick
4: back kick

Seriously… Creators of this game are dumb because they created a final character that uses the same moves over and over and than they make it so the only way you can defeat him is if you do the same moves over and over yourself. Honestly creators of mortal combat, you failed to create a game that has diversity, overall.you guys need to rethink of how to create great fighting games.

For all you Smoke fans. I found a neat combo that lands about 48% damage. I’ve yet to pull it off in a fight (even on beginner mode) but its fun to mess with in training mode. Who knows, somebody may be able to pull it off. Here goes:
away+2, 3,smoke bomb,away+1, 4, X-ray. Its pretty cool. Even if you dont pull it off, you can land away+1, 4, X-ray for about 35% damage relatively easy.
If anyone knows of another combo that links perfectly with his X-ray let me know. “Where there’s Smoke, there’s fire.” [Smoke and Scorpion are my two favorite fighters btw)

Wow thanks, haha. This opened up alot of new doors for characters I knew fairly well, and ones I didn’t. Like to see a Jade, shes way to underplayed and very underestimated.

SCORPION please: need him to fight Mileena on Challenge Tower 300. Some of SCORPION’s linked combos seem the best candidate for beating the tower! Cheers.

Josh, you are ignorant. MK9 is the best MK game yet. The final boss battles have always been extremely difficult. I’d like to see Scorpion, Mileena, and Cyber Sub-Zero.
