Motorstorm Apocalypse Gets Major Update with Move Support

The folks at Sony really don’t want you to forget about Motorstorm Apocalypse. They’ve got the 3D TV bundle on the way, and now the game is getting a really rather large update (which is live now) that adds custom games and wheel and Move support.

First, the custom games. This is what it sounds like — you can tweak your races to your hearts content, including altering gravity, granting unlimited boost, removing every car’s brakes, etc. This change officially makes this Motorstorm a party game.

Then there’s Move support, which isn’t detailed on the Playstation Blog, and I haven’t tried it out yet. But it’s there if you want it.

And Wheel support. Finally! Four racing wheels will now work if Motorstorm Apocalypse: the Logitech G25, Logitech G27, Logitech Driving Force GT and Logitech Driving Force Pro.

And lastly, you can now share your custom vehicles on Motorstorm.com, and you can also download any that people have uploaded and use them in the game. Killer.

What a monster this update is. Good work, Evolution.

When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any means you may take away me from that service? Thanks!
