Motorstorm Apocalypse Meets Its End in Japan

Motorstorm Apocalypse is a victim of circumstance in Japan, being a game glorifying a major, city-destroying earthquake planned for release just weeks after the devastating earthquake and resulting tsunamis that ravaged the country in March. At first the game was delayed in every country in which it hadn’t yet been released, eventually coming out everywhere but Japan.

Now it’s never coming out in Japan. This is not surprising. Motorstorm games have never done well there, and Sony probably just figured it wouldn’t be worth a PR nightmare to try to get it onto store shelves. At least y’all can still import it if you want, and you should since it’s a great game.
