Move Outselling Kinect in Japan

Kinect is setting records all over the place, apparently, and being recognized as the fastest-selling electronic device ever in most parts of the world. But there’s one place it isn’t catch on: Japan.

Microsoft and the Xbox haven’t gained much ground in the Japan, and it shows in the sales of Kinect — Japanese gamers have picked up about 90,000 Kinect units, while the Playstation Move has sold nearly double the units with about 170,000.

Everywhere else, though, it appears that Kinect is doing pretty well. Meanwhile, Sony refuses to release figures on the sales of the Move. Draw from that what conclusions you will.
