NBA 2K11 Cheats

With EA’s new “Elite” NBA franchise not ready in time for the start of the season, NBA 2K11 rules the roost in terms of fully-licensed basketball simulation. In addition to a full roster of current NBA teams and players, the 2011 iteration of the game features a number of classic teams (with corresponding stadia), that gamers can take control of in both exhibition and association mode.

The involvement of Michael Jordan was also a big coup, with His Airness appearing in a number of different guises, in a number of different modes. In any event, gaming’s hardwood hardcore should have much to sink their teeth into when they get their hands on the game.

Below, we’ve got lists of achievements and trophies. Stay tuned for hidden content, codes, and whatever other information becomes available.

Unlock Michael Jordan in Career Mode

NBA 2K11 ships with a number of “Jordan Challenges.” Complete all 10, and you’ll be able to play as Michael Jordan in career mode. Those of you unwilling or unable to do so can bypass the process by going to Features->Extras->Codes from the menu and entering icanbe23, enabling you to draft Michael Jordan onto a team of your choice.

Grand Theft – Record 10 or more steals with any team, in a non-simulated game

Swat and Swipe – Record at least 5 blocks and 5 steals with any team, in a non-simulated game

Smothering – Hold the opposing team’s FG% below 40% with any team, in a non-simulated game

Giveth and Taketh Away – Record 10 or more rebounds and assists with any player, in a non-simulated game

Hold the Fat Lady – Start the 4th period losting by 10 or more points and win with any team, in a non-simulated game

Wire to Wire – Do not allow your opponent to lead the game at any point with any team, in a non-simulated game

4-Point Line – Pull of a successful 4-point play with any player, in a non-simulated game

Not Over Yet – Make a 3 pointer at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime, in a non-simulated game

The Closer – Hold the opposing team to 0 points in the final two minutes of regulation, in a non-simulated game

G Performance – Score at least 48 points with Kevin Durant to set a new career-high, in a non-simulated game

G Recovery – Play an entire game using manual substitutions, in a non-simulated game
