NBA Live 14 Getting Demo Next Week on PS4 and Xbox One

The last time EA released a playable demo for an NBA game (three years ago), everyone hated it so much that the game was canceled and the series canned. Until now, that is, as NBA Live 14 will be released on both current-gen platforms next week without any last-gen editions. Because it’s a de facto launch title for PS4 and a literal one for Xbox One, there wasn’t much lead time to let players try it out ahead of time, but they are still going to be putting out a demo next week on those platforms to see what it can do to convince the haters that everything is better now.

The demo will let you play as Cleveland Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors, which is perfect because getting to smoke the Knicks with Steph Curry is an appealing prospect.
