Need for Speed Movie Trailer Not Bro-ish Enough

Dreamworks and Disney are putting out this Need for Speed movie next year almost certainly in an attempt to capitalize on the success of the Fast/Furious franchise, the most recent of which made it nearly to $800 million in gross earnings despite not getting a 3D bump. Unfortunately, Need for Speed doesn’t appear to have jokes, and nobody says “bro” at any point in the whole trailer. On top of that, Aaron Paul is no Paul Walker (in terms of being appropriate for a movie about street racing), or at least he doesn’t appear to be based on this trailer.

The final movie may actually make sense as a sort of riff on Fast/Furious, but the marketing really doesn’t. Car action looks fun, though.
