Throwing Weapons Redux

Skyrim doesn’t have throwing weapons, and that’s just wrong, so this mod adds them into the game. With these weapons, you’ll be able to commit ranged murder with more than just spells and arrows. Among the included weapons are throwing axes, javelins, knives, and a host of grenades. Like regular weapons, they can be dual wielded and thrown in unison.

Staves of Skyrim

The staff is the main weapon for spellcasting characters, but there just aren’t enough of them in the game for would-be wizards to play with. This mod is designed to alleviate that shortcoming by adding 30 new staves into the game, with new models and textures just perfect for the wizard on the go who wants to cast spells and look fabulous doing it.

In addition to regular staves, these weapons can also be used defensively, so mages won’t be forced to switch to a shield to defend themselves in melee combat. There’s even a few new perks for staff-wielders to play around with. See the download link for the full details.

Insanity’s Dwemer Weapons

Insanity’s Dwemer Weapons is a collection of weapons designed to recreate the Dwemer weapons from Morrowind, which many Elder Scrolls fans think are more interesting than their counterparts in Skyrim. They come in the form of the shortsword, claymore, mace, battle axe, and war axe. Like regular weapons, they’re spread throughout the leveled lists, so they’ll pop up as loot or appear in shops as weapons normally do.

Heavy Armory is a mod by PrivateEye, designed to expand the variety of weapons used in the world of Skyrim in what the developer calls an “immersive and lore-friendly way.” Besides adding new forms of weapons, including spears, the mod expands some of the more limited sets like the Silver, Imperial, Forsworn, and Draugr weapons.
