New BioShock: Infinite Teaser Trailer Framed As Fake Documentary

Irrational has released a new teaser trailer for BioShock: Infinite, and while I may be a little premature in saying this, it is likely the most creative teaser we’ll see this year. Posing as a retro documentary series called “Truth From Legend,” the teaser has narrator Alistar Bloom attempt “to unlock the mysteries of Columbia and review artifacts that pose new and troubling questions about the city.”

Check it out:

From this teaser, we can glean that Columbia was flying as of 1893, perhaps earlier, and that 1901 was the year the city seceded from the union and disappeared into the clouds. In March of 1981, a building was found high in the Alps, believed to have fallen from Columbia.

Is anyone else curious to see how time travel factors into all of this?
