New Borderlands 2 Tech Demo Shows Off Cool Physics Effects

During last night’s GTX meet-up in San Francisco, Nvidia showed a video produced by Gearbox, demonstrating all the cool new physics features that the GTX 680 will be able to power in Borderlands 2. With a big grin on his face, Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford narrated particle destruction effects, cloth simulation, and kick-ass fluid dynamics.

Combine this news with the long list of PC-centric features Gearbox recently announced, and it appears PC Borderlands 2 players have a lot to look forward to. Hats off to Gearbox for doing it right.

Takes a lot of GPU to render puppies of those size, bet those made Jim Sterling’s day, she looks his type.
With that said Borderlands 2 is very cool, however commercials / games geared toward specific hardware suck.. Might as well have said, “if you want to see it play like we play it, buy a console”
