New Dragon Age 2 DLC: Legacy (Video)

BioWare has announced a new DLC pack for Dragon Age 2 titled Legacy, slated for release July 26 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC/Mac. It promises to be playable from any point in the DAII campaign and will take players beyond the gates of Kirkwall into completely new locations — not simply the same locations with different paths blocked off.

  • Uncover the harsh truth about the Hawke lineage
  • Adventure through several new locations including a prison constructed by the Grey Wardens
  • Obtain a powerful class-specific weapon to which you can apply upgrades of your choice

That trailer has me excited. Seeing those new locations almost makes this look like a new game. Given the criticism about Dragon Age 2′s recycled locations, these new venues could be a major selling point.

Should be an awesome addition to an enjoyable game. Hopefully this is a relevant quest towards DA3. I’m in.

@Aids: It’s a shame you didn’t just choke on your sandwich and spare the rest of us your useless opinion. Just out of curiosity… is “ this garbage” what your daddy says to you while he’s bending you over?

Despite a few flaws in DA2, overall it’s an amazing game. I especially liked how my choices in DA:Origins/Awakenings were integrated into and affected the story of DA2. That said, I was a little disappointed with the way areas were re-used by simply blocking one path or another, but everything else was so good it was easy to get past that annoyance. I personally can’t wait for this DLC and hopefully more to come soon.

bioware destroyed the dragon age series by sending out this abomination. It was good i have to say but they didnt put in the character creation instead we have to journey with this “hawke” person and see him or her do quests within what appears to be a prison. hopefully we can play as our wardens in the next dragon age and not have to worry about hawke.

the graphics were like that of the N64. the fighting system was bad and they reused the maps from the first dragon age. I wish they put in better characters and a better storyline. im glad i sold my game.
