EA Playground, which can be best described as the Wii Sports of playground sports and games, has been dated, and we’ve got a batch of screens from both the Wii and DS versions of the game. October 23 is when you’ll find it on store shelves. It’ll be interesting to see how well the game sells – it’ll be out in time for the holiday rush, and this is the sort of kid-friendly game that the average consumer can walk by in the store, understand the concept of and decide it’s appropriate for their children/nephews/nieces/other gift-receiving persons in his or her life. Looking at these screenshots, my most prolific reaction was, “I don’t remember flying a plane during recess.”
