New FIFA 12 Trailer Basks in Praise

FIFA 12 apparently wowed a lot of journalists at E3 (including us, to be fair). With a bevy of fawning quotes in hand, the EA team cooked up this trailer full of plaudits, presumably to build expectation before their September 29th release date.

The game really does look like a delight, although a bunch of footage of international superstars banging in free kicks does little to show of the new installment’s innovations, including a new “Vision” feature that limits passing range to what players can actually see. Decide for yourself by streaming or downloading the trailer, below.

And so the hype begins. Last year was the same before FIFA 11 got released and that turned out to be bug ridden.

I really hope FIFA 12 does live up to expectations but how do consumers trust anything from the media when they do not give a truthful review, perhaps they are frightened of EA?
