A new Linux client for the Frets on Fire video game is available on FileFront. The Frets on Fire v1.2.512 Linux Client weighs in at just under 37mb. This open-source, free Guitar Hero clone has you use the keyboard to play the guitar. The game does support joystick control so you can use the Guitar Hero controllers with the right software and/or adapter.
Frets on Fire is available for PC, Mac and Linux.

Woow, frets on fire ftw!
I’m the alleged fourth best fretter for the game according to a forum poll, at least on the “united” forum. There are some sub-forums like FOFspain that have some good fretters as well.
This new version is very glitchy though. I suggest people use the older two versions, 1.2.4 and 1.1
