New Gran Turismo 6 Trailer Features Lunar Rover on the Moon

While we may love to complain about industry secrecy, I’m happy that the above image I pulled from the new trailer for Gran Turismo 6 has no explanation whatsoever. I don’t really need to hear I CAN’T drive on the moon in GT6 today.

We also learned some new specifics about the game today. For one, GT6 will include more than 120 new cars, pushing the total past 1200, as well as about 100 tracks. Also, someday down the line there will be an update (free?) that will add a feature called “GPS Logger” that will allow you to track any real-world route you drive via smartphone app, and the game will recreate it as a course. How that works is unknown.

But you’re here for the video. A word of warning: you have to sit through a lot of not-Moon stuff to get to the moon part.

Gran Turismo 6 hits PS3 on December 6.
