New iPhone 4 “Perfect for Gaming”
Mobile gaming is a hugely expanding area and the iPhone is definitely in the lead so along with announcing the newest iteration of the ubiquitous trendy device, at its World Wide Developer’s Conference, Apple seemed to be focusing more and more on how the phone’s new upgrades make it an even better gaming platform.
One of the big points that Apple CEO Steve Jobs mentioned was the 3-axis gyroscope built into the new device that will give a much more fine level of control related to 3D-motion gaming. The demonstration showed a Jenga application and the tilt and pitch precision built into the new Apple hardware.
Along with the upgraded tilt/motion sensors Apple also revealed a new forward facing camera for video conferencing, iMovie for the iPhone and the new iOS 4 which allows multitasking, unified mail features and a number of other user requested features.
