New Little Big Planet Screens

little big planet

I don’t know how I’m going to explain Little Big Planet to my friends. There’s just no way to do it and sound cool.

Me: So, I just bought my PS3! You guys wanna come over and check it out?

Them: Sure! What games do you have?

Me: Well, just one. BUT it’s really cool! You are these little uhm… dolls.. and you get to dress these dolls up in different outfits an-…

Them: Dude. What the-…

Me: Let me finish! You like take your little dolls and work together, there’s no killing or anything. You take your dolls and see your dolls are like these tiny people, and they move around objects to jump through the level. The twist is, that the objects are gigantic! So a baseball for them is like 8 times their size! We can each make our own doll! I call the sunflower hat costume!

Them: Someone call David, this girl looks just like him.

See what I mean? I’ll have to find some way, because Little Big Planet looks to be one of the first true must-have titles for the PS3. Social standings aside, this game may just remind us how fun games should be. Here’s hoping. Until then, check out these brand new screenshots that just came in.

That’s why I am going to refuse to invite my “friends” over to play this game. I plan on finding my real friends online through various message boards of people who will truly appreciate this title. My friends already think I’m weird for having a 12 yr old girlfriend when I’m 25, I don’t need this to be another thing they can make fun of me about.

‘Scuse me, I gotta go pick my girl up from grammer school.

What are you Marcus Vick or something with the 12 year olds?

It looks…bizarre. Seems that someone was channeling Salvador Dali when they designed this.

I have never wanted to play a game as much as I want to play this.

As far as I can tell you start off in a world in which you can destroy/undo/use anything to gain access to other parts of the world. The bit that I find amazing is that users will be able to create their own areas and they will be added to the huge online world for other gamers to stumble across while exploring meaning the gaming area will be constantly growing and changing.

My gut feeling on this is that it’s going to be a huge success.

I can’t wait for this tittle to hit the shelves, Little Big Planet really was the turning point for me. When I saw the game-play a couple of months ago I was convinced this was gonna be a big deal for Sony. Forget my friends, i’ll have hordes of women swarming my house wanting to play
