New Metro 2033 Patch Gimps the Game’s Achievements

Metro 2033 has some cheap new DLC called the Ranger Pack that, in simple terms, dynamically changes the way the game plays. A patch for the update went out, and it looks like that patch did something to prevent players from being able to earn any of the new DLC achievements.

So far, the problem has not been fixed, but the Metro 2033 Twitter says MS has suggested that gamers recover their gamertags in response to the problem. Interestingly, MS also suggested that when players couldn’t earn achievements on Fallout 3′s Broken Steel DLC last year, and that did solve the problem then. Even so, expect a new patch at some point soon.

Anything to fix the few graphical bugs this game has. They’re only little but annoy the hell out of me. Still a great game though!
