New NBA Live '08 Screens

nba live 2008

60 frames per second. It just has a nice ring to it. It can be the saving grace of any game title. As it stands, whenever someone mentions frames per second and NBA Live in the same sentence, it usually includes profanity. NBA 2007 has been seen by some as the worst offender, and the Live 2008 team is striving to fix the problem.

Not only is EA trying to create the best looking NBA game to date, they are also striving for that magic 60 frames per second. Have they succeeded in their goal? It’s hard to say, but these newest screenshots seem verify their claims. The EA series of sports games has a track record of mediocrity in some departments, while some gamers complain that EA makes no real effort for innovation.

NBA Live 2007 was pretty lackluster. Perhaps with the release of a title that some deem as one of the worst in the series, EA has been given renewed vigor to make up for past wrongs. By the looks of things, Live ’08 seems as if it may do just that.
