New Skyrim Content for PC and PS3 Is “Close”

Bethesda recently stated via Twitter that the developer is close to having new Skyrim content for PC and PS3.

The tweet read:

Skyrim’s next DLC, Dragonborn, will likely feature dragon mounts and potentially see a return to Morrowind, as hinted at by an October Skyrim patch. The game’s previous DLC, Hearthfire, allowed players to adopt children and create their own house, while Dawnguard was all about vampires.

The question is, will this “new” content for PC and PS3 be truly new, or simply content that hasn’t made it onto those platforms yet?

What kind of new content do you wan to see come to Skyrim?

More interaction with the daedra would be nice. A return to the shirvering isle would be really sweet.

It is a bit odd that they speak of new content for PC and PS3 in the same statement. The PS3 content would almost certainly be a reference to getting Dawnguard and Hearthfire ready for that system, but so far the content that made it to the 360 has made it to the PC, albeit at a month long delay thanks to the deal Bethesda has with Microsoft. I can’t think of what that new content would be aside from maybe some sort of patch, but including it with the PS3 makes it sound like there is something more substantial.
