New Soul Calibur 5 Screens Show Off Character Design, Balletic Violence

I’m starting to worry about the people at Soul Calibur. We’ve posted tons of different trailers and various things that concern Namco Bandai’s new fighting game, and there’s practically no gratuitous T&A!

Same goes for the screenshots below. Sure, there’s neat concept art, and some action shots that whet our whistle for the latest installment of this storied franchise, but what’s with all the pictures of Voldo? Surely the big brains at Project Soul realize that when people think Soul Calibur, they think gigantic, jiggling tits. Get their marketing team to a doctor, because they’re clearly not operating at 100%!

Transcending history and the world, a tale of souls and swords eternally retold — with our Soul Calibur 5 text and video walkthrough! Check it out, or Voldo will show us his crotch again.

No TNA = Namco has grown up and maybe you should too.

The Soul series wasn’t always about TNA, not like DOA. Ever play Soul Edge of Soul Calibur 1? Sadly the trend started in Soul Calibur 2 when Ivy’s costume was more relieving and Taki went from a B cup to double D’s, especially in the concept art. It wasn’t as bad in 3 (besides the concept art, and Valeria) but at it’s worst in SC4 though ironically Hilde was fully covered.

It’s about time Namco stopped focusing on sex appeal and just give us female characters that look and play great. Though it probably won’t stop dudes with their perverted imaginations.
