New Trailer for Hei$t Has Got Me All Excited Now

I had completely forgotten all about the upcoming “Hei$t” from Codemasters; probably because it seemed like just another GTA clone. But now it looks like the French gaming site, Play3-Live, managed to snag an exclusive trailer for the game that’s got me all excited. The video doesn’t show any actual gameplay, but it does seem to give off a good impression of the game’s style. That is, the game will be set during 1969 and feature a cast of cool-as-ice characters pulling off a series of robberies to work their way up to a final “big score.” It’s like they took Bullit, Dog Day Afternoon, and a whole bunch of other crime films from around that time and wrapped it into one package. Luckily, it looks like we won’t have to wait too long to find out whether that really is the case, since the game is set for release in June. Unfortunately there isn’t any way for me to embed the thing, so you’ll have to click on the link below to check out the trailer for yourself.

The concept is good.

But without proper gameplay to show off, I’ll reserve judgement.

I mean, GTA4 is good, and I mean really good, but theres still alot of scope for improvement so we’ll see.

Eyes on this and Saints Row 2
