Infinity Ward has sent out a new trailer showing off a new aspect of the multiplayer in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The new “perks” system allows you to give your own character special abilities, which allows you to tailor your character’s skills to your own play style. You’ll be able to choose three from the dozens of perks available, any of which could change the tide of battle. The video shows examples of a few of these perks, such as “Deep Impact,” which allows your bullets to pass through some barriers. My personal favorite is “Last Stand,” which allows you to lie crippled on the floor, but still able to shoot at passing enemies. This could definitely make for some fun and frenzied matches, as you won’t really know who has what perks at first.

Last Stand should hopefully make being almost dead not so much of a pain it is in other games. Anyhow, point is, looks very good. I dread to see the system requirements…I do hope I’ll be able to play this.

Great idea for the classic genre. Game play looks alot like RainbowSix but you seem to have more HP. Love the perks, should make for deversified gameplay
