Next Kane & Lynch Sequel Subtitled “Sleeping Dogs” (RUMOR)

Square Enix has trademarked the name “Sleeping Dogs,” which many believe to be a sign of an upcoming third installment in the Kane & Lynch series. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days was released in 2010, and the developers have since confirmed that we’d be seeing more of the duo in the future.

“Sleeping Dogs” could be anything, and the dog reference is the only clue that ties it to Kane & Lynch 2. However, this isn’t the only evidence of a Kane & Lynch sequel — a job listing back in September was our first hint.

Are you looking forward to another Kane & Lynch game, or do you think they should just let sleeping dogs lie?

Hopefully there won’t be any s***y censorship like the 2nd one – that made the game unplayable for me (its hard to get a headshot when the hole head has a box blur).

I played the demo for the last one, and the look of it was pretty cool. It didn’t seem very involving though, and the combat seemed fairly ordinary. Also, I heard the single player campaign was very short and that’s what I would be playing. I think a good game could be made from this franchise, but I’m not holding my breath.
