Of all the game licenses out there, Tak is a little low on the list of ones that I would give a TV show. But I suppose it’s a little less surprising that the computer animated series will air this fall on Nickelodeon (the quality of their cartoons has been in a steady downward slide since The Angry Beavers, in my opinion). The show will open with Tak getting “the Power of Juju,” which grants him strange magic powers. Unfortunately, he doesn’t quite know how to use his abilities responsibly. As you can imagine, hijinks ensue. That’s good and all, but where’s my Ratchet and Clank cartoon?

Good games rarely make good shows and good shows rarely make good games. Bad shows can be bad games as well, though.
So it looks like we have about a 50/50 chance of it being a good show, but looking at who is making it, there’s a 100% chance that if it starts out good, they’ll run it into the ground just like Rugrats.

This is a little old, and it looks good.
