Night Vision Goggles to Return in Splinter Cell Blacklist

Ubisoft has revealed that Sam Fisher’s iconic night vision goggles will be making a return in the upcoming Splinter Cell Blacklist, which is planned for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The goggles were not present in Sam Fisher’s last adventure, Conviction. Having been disavowed by the agency he worked for, Sam was forced to make do with any equipment he could get his hands on.

Like the original goggles, Sam will be able to activate them at the touch of a button, and doing so will turn his entire vision green and allow him (and thus the player) to see in the dark. Presumably, Sam will find them handy in the event that he disables all of the light sources in a location before proceeding onto his mission.

Ubisoft has shared a video of the night vision goggles in action.
