Nightwing Pack Revealed for Batman: Arkham City

It seems like every time we turn around, we’re getting another announcement about Batman: Arkham City. Today, it’s Nightwing, the sidekick who joined Batman after Robin left.

Nightwing will be similar to the PS3 exclusive Joker character that was in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Nightwing will have his own special moves and gadgets, and will be playable in all the challenge maps in the game. The Nightwing pack will include two new challenge maps, Wayne Manor and Main Hall, and a bonus character skin for Nightwing based on the character from Batman: the Animated Series.

The Nightwing bundle will be released on November 1. The previously announced Robin pack will come three weeks later on November 22. Each pack will cost you 560 MS Points on XBox Live, or $6.99 on PlayStation Network.

Arkham City launches on October 18, but if you need to tide yourself over until then, check out this trailer that shows off Catwoman. That’s always worth your time.

Announcing DLC before the game is even released? How assured I am that the finished product won’t be a shell of game hollowed out for further profit.

@Red Menace: I disapprove of DLCs coming out around the same time the game does, and I won’t be getting it, but I’m very confident that AC will be an amazing game anyway. After all, the only DLCs they’ve announced have been skinpacks.(Unless you count the GS exclusive stuff)

If you have the patience, wait 2 years and get the Game of the Year version with all of these DLC included but 2 years! This is one game I cannot hold back and wait.

Pre ordered it from Walmart-the best deal out there: You get $10 ecredit but more importantly you get a copy of the Game of the Year Batman Arkham Asylum. This is worth $30 new and an excellent game as well.
