Ninja Gaiden II Easter Egg Features Xbox 360

Ninja Gaiden II was released today and already an easter egg has been revealed in the game. As you see in the picture above, a big ‘X’ can be found in one of the levels in the game. What is it? What does it do? Where can I find such an awesome easter egg? All of these questions can be answered after the break. Those of you who are worried about spoilers can rest assure I won’t ruin anything for you with my explaination.

In Chapter 4, you will eventually make your way to a Ninja Museum below a certain famous monument. In the Ninja Museum, there will be a bunch of artifacts. If you proceed to the back of the Ninja Museum, you will find an area where there’s some wooden planks against the wall. There is where you will find the big ‘X’ easter egg. If you’d like to get an idea of what it looks like in-game and exactly what it does, please refer the the video I shot showing off the big ‘X’.

There was also a Xbox easter egg (I assume it was for Xbox…if not it was a just a X) on Ninja Gaiden for Xbox. It was the 3rd chapter (if I remember correctly) right outside of Han’s Bar. It healed you! ^.^

*cue nerd voice* It’s Ninja guy-den, not Ninja -den. *end nerd voice*
That reminds me of an old Xbox Evolved logo, or something.

Yep it appeared in the original Ninja gaiden, and indeed healed you..it is actually the prototype design of the original xbox console that they came up with before turning it into the black brick…

This is the reason I bought an LCD TV and NOT Plasma. Damn reflections! I can clearly see your couch, you, and a painting. Is that a floor lamp too?
