Nintendo Celebrates 25th Anniversary of Zelda With Game Releases

This year is the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. In celebration, Nintendo has just announced that they will be releasing (or re-releasing) Zelda titles across all their active platforms. Here’s the list:

  • Link’s Awakening in 3DS store today
  • Ocarina of Time 3D to launch next weekend
  • 4 player co-op Legend of Zelda Four Swords on DSi
  • LoZ Skyward Sword for Holiday on Wii

 

Nintendo will also be offering up a Special Edition gold Wii remote alongside Skyward Sword.

We’ll have to see if Nintendo announces another Zelda game for Project Cafe later in the show.
