FROM THE RUMOR MILL
Nintendo Power Magazine might be calling it quits. According to “inside sources” at the magazine, employees who have not been laid-off already, are being told to find new jobs by September of this year. Some media sources are suggesting that the mag will move to a Wii channel, or be run by a third-party. Nintendo America refuses to comment. We will keep you informed of any new developments.

Isn’t Nintendo Power already being run by a third party (Future Publishing)? They took over the publication of the magazine a couple months ago – moved a couple staffers down to northern California and are being headed up by former PSM EIC, Chris Slate

Nintendo Power has been run by Future Publishing for a long time. And I don’t know where you got the rumor but Nintnedo Power won’t be cancelled for a long time. It even said in V230 that the next issuses for a few months will be great and not to miss them.
