No Porsche in Forza 4

Fact I didn’t know: EA owns the exclusive video game rights to the Porsche brand. In order to get Porsche vehicles in your game, you have to make a sublicensing deal with EA. Unfortunately, Turn 10 was unable to do so this time around on Forza Motorsport 4.
“This kills me. … We’ve asked our contacts at EA to reconsider their position frequently and regularly over the last 18 months,” Turn 10′s Brian Ekberg said, via a blog post. “We also reached out to various influential people in gaming to lobby on our behalf, and on your behalf, but that was to no avail.
This is sad. I guess we’ll have to take solace in the several hundred other cars that WILL be in the game. How will we ever survive?

Porches we’re always OP in the Forza games, plus Forza has one thing most NFS/EA games don’t have, Ferrari.

It is a shame, why are EA suddenly being ish? I mean, forza 3 had porsches. Why would EA turn their back on one of the racing sim kings?

Lol, No porsche = trade in
A few of my friends have decided not to buy it anymore
Unless more pressure is put on ea, the issue with sales will skyrocket

Eh, doesn’t matter. Ferrari, Lambo, Lotus, Vette, Viper, GT-R, AMG, Bugatti, Pagani, etc. The only Porsche I liked in the last one was the GT1. To not play it b/c you can’t drive a few Porsches is ridiculous, it’s a great game. EA just looks dumb here.
