Good news from PS3 Fanboy. North Americans can now join their European brethren in getting the latest update for Motorstorm. Patch 1.2 addresses several technical issues including glitches with boost, SD text cut-off, online performance and surround sound glitches. Players will now be able to save up to 50 friends in their buddy list. The biggest bonus included with the patch is the new Time Attack Mode which allows you to race against your best times. Your fastest times will be put on the online leaderboard for others to download and compete against. Apparently you can race against up to seven of these best-time-ghosts at once.
You must update the game before down loading the new game mode from the store. Simply power up your PS3 and launch Motorstorm. Just download the update at the prompt.

I’ve been informed the Store generally updates late in the afternoon. Look for them at 6 pm ET and generally they’re there by then.
