Notch Made a Game in Two Days and You Can Play It

Check this out: Markus “Notch” Persson, the guy behind the uber-popular Minecraft, made a game last weekend. And you can play it.

The game was part of the Ludum Dare event, in which participants have 48 hours and their wits and have to create a new, fresh game from scratch. Notch was among the participants; he created a first-person dungeon crawler called Prelude of the Chambered.

Guess what? You can play it. For free. Right now — right here. Notch says it’ll last you somewhere between 20 and 30 minutes, unless you die, because then you have to start all over. Enjoy.
