If you switch on your Xbox 360 right now, you’ll be asked to download a new system update. You may be tempted to let your initial thought bubble up into full excitement, but simmer down: this isn’t the new, completely revamped system with avatars and such. In fact, this new update doesn’t add any new features at all; just some code to “prepare for future growth of the service.” The new Xbox 360 experience update is still scheduled for release this fall, but until then, move along. Nothing to see here.
