Now We Know What Natal Is Good For

dirtyIt’s good for dancing. I say that because today, for the very first time, I have heard a game concept that uses Natal that makes sense to me. Game Informer says they’ve “heard” that Harmonix is hard at work on a Natal-powered dancing title.

I really “get” this because dancing requires a person’s entire body and not just his or her hands (Just Dance) or feet (DDR). Whether or not the game will be worth a damn is irrelevant at this stage; a dancing game can really take full advantage of Natal’s capabilities.

Not that this needs saying, but in case anyone was wondering: work on this game does not affect Harmonix’s work on the Rock Band franchise.
