Nuketown Zombies Is Coming To The PC Version Of Black Ops 2
Nuketown Zombies has remained an exclusive for the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 when it was released last December. Since then, we’ve all been wondering whether Activision even had plans to release the content on the PC. The content differs from the standard Nuketown map in that it features Zombies and that it’s only a part of the Zombies game mode—but you already knew that.
Today, Activision revealed on the game’s official Facebook page (via Gameranx) that Nuketown Zombies will be coming to both the PC and PS3 on January 17, bringing an end to the timed exclusive that the publisher had with Microsoft for the Xbox 360.
Unfortunately, the content is limited to holders of the DLC season pass so you’ll have to pick one up if you want to play it. It’s just another way for Activision to gouge money out of players for existing content, so unless you intend to purchase the season pass for the competitive maps they have in store, I’d kindly suggest skipping out on this one and picking up Left 4 Dead 2 instead.
Given the publisher’s penchant for agreeing to timed exclusives with Microsoft, it’s doubtful that this will be the last time both PC and PS3 gamers are left out in the cold in regards to content for Black Ops 2.
