Nvidia Shield Pre-Order Links Live, Bundled With Two Games

As reported by Game Front last week, the Nvidia Shield is available for pre-order to the general public today. The handheld Android console, which should be the first Tegra 4-based device available for purchase, will ship on June 30th.

The pre-order links also reveal software that comes bundled with the Shield. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2, and Expendable: Rearmed will come pre-loaded on the Shield, so you’ll have something to play right out of the box. Neither of these games are new – both were released in 2012 – but free games are nothing to sneeze at, right?

Newegg and Nvidia also have three accessories listed for purchase, all of which have a ship date of 6/30/2013. There are two custom lids available – one in Glossy Black and one in Carbon Fiber – as well as a carrying case. Both lids go for $19.99, while the carrying case is $39.99. The carrying case is especially interesting, as it allows device charging without having to zipper the case open.

Check out the pre-order links below, and be sure to leave your thoughts on the Shield and these new pre-order bonuses in the comments.
