NVidia Unleashes New Drivers For Crysis 3

Nvidia has released a new set of WHQL-certified drivers for GeForce card owners. The new GeForce 314.07 driver is described as an “essential” update for players jumping into Crysis 3, which comes out tomorrow. The drivers are set to improve single-GPU and multi-GPU performance by up to 65%.

In addition to the improvements they deliver to Crysis 3, the drivers also deliver SLI and single-GPU gains to Assassin’s Creed 3, Far Cry 3, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Even older titles like Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Just Cause 2 see huge improvements.

The update also comes with new SLI profiles for DmC: Devil May Cry and Warframe for players with powerful SLI setups.

GeForce card owners can download the latest drivers directly from the GeForce.com homepage, where it’s available for Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8 packages for desktop PCs and notebooks.

If you’re planning to pick up Crysis 3 this week, you’ll need these drivers to run the game the way it’s meant to be played.

You can look at the performance gains the drivers offer in the graph below, with comparisons between the older 310.90 WHQL driver and the newly released one.

Guess I got here too early, since I don’t see the graph.
