The party’s over people. Seriously. Nyko has just announced that their peripheral for the Wii, the Party Station, has been canceled. The Station would have been a box with four slots to hold your Wii-motes and Nunchucks, as well as four drink holders and a bowl for snacks. The box would’ve also had four LED displays to keep score and a cooling fan for your game-weary hands. Nyko explained that they could only sell the product at a retail value of about $25. Unfortunately, all the parts for the Party Station cost around $50 total. Poor thing. It just couldn’t sustain that much partying.
*Cue sentimental music* Party on, Nyko. *sniffle* Party on.
