Activision has announced that a new batch of downloadable content is now available for Guitar Hero III. Today, the PSN and XBL will be getting the “Modern Metal” track pack, which will contain Deftones’ “Hole in the Earth,” Avenged Sevenfold’s “Almost Easy” and Thrice’s “The Arsonist” for the usual fee. Additionally though, Activision also announced that they will be kicking off a St. Patrick’s Day celebration with a free track pack. This pack will contain songs from Dropkick Murphys, including “Famous for Nothing,” “(F)lannigan’s Ball” and “Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya.” I’m not a huge fan of the Dropkick Murphys, but, hey, free is free,
