One Million New People Have Started Playing DCUO

It looks like Sony Online Entertainment’s decision to switch DC Universe Online to a F2P model is paying off big time. We already reported there’s apparently been a 1000% increase in the number of DCUO players. Now we have actual numbers to go with that boast. SOE says that one million new people have picked up the game, split evenly between PS3 and PC.

Anyone out there started playing it? Let us know what you think of the F2P version in comments.

I have about 20 hours into it already, it a decent game for casual players with a little bit of a skill mechanic with the blocking and dash so if you really know what you are doing you’ll do far better then a regular person not used to those mechanics.

Anyways I was impressed with the game and after playing so many mmo’s iv been really kind of sick of playing them but this game felt different then all the rest which is what hooked me to play for as long as i did. Who here has never wished they could be Superman or Superwoman at some point in there life?

If you are not playing any mmo’s right now and not sure what game you should play then give this one a shot, it might just surprise you.
