OnLive PlayPasses To Be Bundled With Retail Copies of Games?

OnLive CEO Steve Perlman, speaking with MCV, said that some company’ that publish games on OnLive will start bundling OnLive codes with retail copies of games either later this year or early next.

“They know that that means their customer can play wherever they are and have a new level of convenience,” he said.

This is nice, I guess, but counterintuitive since you can’t transfer saved games between OnLive and your game console. So even if people have these codes, would they use them given that fact? I doubt it.

Great, one more random, useless piece of paper stuck in the case of a game I buy. Just what I need.
