OnLive Sale Slices (Some) Prices By As Much As Half
Probably in a move to try to compete with the ludicrous sale going on over at Steam (and it seems, in response, all over the damn Internet), cloud PC game-streaming service OnLive has cut prices on a few of its more notable titles.
Hit the link right here to get the full list of games available at slashed prices, which OnLive will stream to your PC over the Internet with almost no consideration for what kind of crap hardware your PC has duct taped into it. Among the more notable prices are the preorder for Deus Ex: Human Revolution for $44.99, Homefront for $37.49, and Ghostbusters: The Video Game (which I love simply because of the voice acting) and Metro 2033 for $9.99.
Buying a game through OnLive is basically like buying it anywhere else, and once you download the OnLive client, you can play the game as much as you want — as if you had the disc. You can also preview just about every game that’s available on the service as a half-hour demo, or with rental-style passes for three or five days. Being an OnLive members doesn’t cost anything; only the games or the monthly PlayPass subscription will incur any costs.
